Federal Accomplishment Report

The Extension program planning and evaluation process is mandated in the Smith-Lever Act of 1914, as amended, the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 and the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998. Consistent with USDA-NIFA guidelines, Tennessee’s Annual Accomplishment Reports include only statewide programs with measured outcomes and the most robust social, economic and/or environmental impact. Historically the report was compiled from over 700 Extension impact statements. Annual Accomplishment Reports require outcomes and outcome targets for all planned programs. The System for University Planning, Evaluation and Reporting (SUPER), supports all of the USDA-NIFA Federal Accomplishment Report guidelines. Since 2015, the Annual Accomplishment Report represents the combined efforts of UT Extension, UT Agricultural Experiment Station, TSU Cooperative Extension Program, and TSU Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Research.
